How Do You Go About Measuring True Success?

What does success look like to you? It all depends on the way you look at your life, and what you consider to be truly successful. It also depends on what you use to measure these different valued achievements. Certainly we all have our own priorities, lifestyles, and goals, but there are ways to measure success in your life that are healthier than others. For example, would you consider a person who is extremely wealthy, with a mortgage paid off, three luxury cars, a pool, a tennis court, and a high-status job to be successful? What if that same person had a terrible disease or suffered from chronic pain? What if the anxiety from the job that gave the person so much money felt like slow torture? What if that person spent so much time earning money and making luxury purchases that s/he never had enough time to enjoy those items, or even meet a potential spouse? Conversely, would you consider a person successful if he or she was living under the poverty line, and never knows where tonig

How Do I Make Money Working From Home? Let Me Count the Ways . . . .

It seems to be increasingly popular to find some way to earn a living from the comfort of your own home .  People - especially moms -  are looking for ways to stay home with their kids and yet contribute to the family income.  They prowl the internet at night or on their lunch breaks, looking for just the right opportunity that fits their interests and family.  Let me suggest their search may be too narrow. How To Leverage Your Current Ideas And Products Into Multiple Revenue Streams

Diversification is a wealth building strategy; it is also an excellent method for becoming more profitable. By working on your business instead of in it you can remain focused on the big picture and clearly see the best options for creating multiple revenue streams. If you sell products you can offer them in different sizes, combine them with other products of yours or with complimentary products and sell the value added package at a higher price point. If you have a service business you can offer different services and programs at different price points. By developing multiple revenue streams you spread out your risk and the costs of marketing and customer or client acquirement and boost your profits. It’s also an excellent way to offer your customers ideas for repeat sales, which are more profitable than first time sales. NOTE: Need help with marketing? Ben Franklin Didn't Quite Get It Right

When Ben Franklin said "a penny saved is a penny earned", he didn't quite get it right. Actually, a penny saved is worth more than a penny earned. Do you find this statement shocking? I am about to prove to you that what I'm saying is true. Most people erroneously believe the best way to strengthen their financial health is to increase their income. On the contrary, saving money by cutting costs will get you there quicker. You see, it's very simple. When your income increases (with some exceptions like the part of it you put into your 401k), that extra money is taxed. On the other hand, any amount you save by cutting costs is not taxed. Therefore, $20 saved by cutting costs is worth more than a $20 increase in income. NEW OFFER! The following (although over-simplified) example will illustrate this principle. Let's suppose that Jack and Cindy have identical jobs and incomes. Let's also suppose they shop at the same grocery store and pay about the same amoun
